The campus is designed to create a vibrant urban hub of commerce and activity in a suburban setting. The walkable campus is designed to facilitate easy access to the Metro-North train station from any point on the site and promote the use of project amenities. An 11-acre waterfront nature preserve with walking and jogging trails, boardwalks, water features and indigenous landscape features will surround the campus and provide a relaxing environment for tenants, residents and visitors to enjoy. A new Metro North ticket office and commuter waiting area will be integrated into the first building constructed at the project, the “Concourse Building”.
Fairfield Metro Center will include 7 buildings consisting of 5 mid-rise office buildings containing1 Million square feet of Class A office space, 75,000 square feet of retail space, a 175 room select service hotel, a proposed 197 unit residential rental apartment building, a 1,500 space commuter parking lot and an 11 acre waterfront nature preserve and park. The seven buildings will be built above structured and surface parking. The top of the primary parking structure will feature a professionally designed and landscaped courtyard, which will serve as an amenity to office tenants. The upper floors of the buildings will all feature unobstructed views of Long Island Sound.
State-of-the-art security systems will ensure tenant safety and security while maintaining a professional, welcoming environment. The campus will be monitored 24/7 by a manned centralized security system with video. Unobtrusive controlled entry into main lobby and elevator lobbies. Security desks will be staffed to greet and sign in guests. Secure access points will be provided for each elevator bank. Restricted elevator access to each floor will be available at all times
